I’D often thought about becoming a care worker, but didn’t think I could do it. Instead I worked in retail – in supermarkets, fast food restaurants and high street clothes shops – but it was always just a job, a way to earn money. I was also working evenings, so I never saw my kids, Kieren, 13, Bradley, 10, and Jamie, who is just four. Something had to change. Tuesday’s London weather forecast — cloudy start with rain to clear into brighter spells in the east that could develop west

TUESDAY 30 October to start cloudy with rain, heavy and persistent for some far eastern areas of London. The east to clear into some brighter spells later that could develop further west. Strong winds and possible coastal gales will ease. Maximum Temperature 10 °C.

A dry start with sunny spells on Wednesday to turn cloudier with rain later. Rather cloudy Thursday, with showers breaking out. Friday starts cold and bright but get wet and windy later.

STRONG winds and heavy rain across the far southeast of England that will clear over Tuesday 30 October. A cold start in other areas will give way to bright weather with sunny spells and scattered showers.

Wednesday to be dry for most but the west where some showers are expected. The rain will be widespread on Thursday. Friday starts cold but sunny for many, then rain and strong winds set in.

UK outlook for Saturday 3 Nov 2018 to Monday 12 Nov 2018

NEXT weekend is likely to bring a spell of wet and windy weather, and though it could get stormy, it will be a little milder than currently conditions.

Forecast for the following week is unsettled with some clear and sunny periods, but showers and longer spells of rain to break these up. The west is likely to get the heaviest rain with eastern parts of the UK a little drier. A possibility of snow on northern hills. It will be windy at times with gales, in particular in the west.

Temperatures to stay near normal to rather cold, however quite mild at times. Overnight frosts are possible in the drier interludes.
