GARETH BALE played for Real Madrid just days after a high profile falling out with Zinedine Zidane.

The Welshman has been linked with a move to China in recent days after Zizou made it clear he had no future in the Spanish capital.

In fact, Champions League winner Bale replaced Eden Hazard at half-time against Arsenal – the Belgian cost £150million to be the Welshman’s replacement after a poor season.

Real Madrid found themselves losing 2-0 at half-time of the pre-season friendly against the Gunners.

Nacho Fernandez was sent off early on after handling on the line, with Alexandre Lacazett converting from the spot.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled the lead, racing through on goal to slot home a cool finish.

But Real were given a chance in the game when Sokratis Papastathopoulos was harshly sent off for a foul on Luka Modric.
